GETTING TO THE TREE MUSEUM IS EASY!


Walk, bike or take public transportation to visit the TREE MUSEUM.
ADMISSION: Free
Start your self-guided walking tour at any point on the Grand Concourse.
Pick up a copy of the Visitors Guide at the Bronx Museum, Wave Hill or selected venues along the Grand Concourse.

SUBWAY: to any stop between 138th St/Grand Concourse and Mosholu Parkway.

One popular entryway is at 161st St/Yankee Stadium: walk east 3 short blocks to the Grand Concourse and Joyce Kilmer Park. The Bronx Museum of the Arts is located one block north of the park. Diagonally across the street is the Andrew Freedman Home, where you'll find a Tree Museum mural by TATS CRU and Tree Museum birdhouses by Bronx Writing Academy students.

BUS: Bx1 runs the length of the Grand Concourse. Bx2 runs between149th St and Mosholu Parkway. Get off at any stop to create your self-guided walking tour, or stay on the bus and dial the corresponding extension numbers for trees.
