PUBLIC PROGRAMS:

Open! Tree Museum opened on Sunday, June 21st 2009.

Satellite exhibitions featuring drawings and related artifacts were on view at Wave Hill (June 21 - October 12, 2009) and at The Bronx Museum of the Arts (August 2 - October 25, 2009).

Haiku Hikes: Poet E.J. McAdams leads poetry walks (HAIKU HIKE) along the Grand Concourse.

Grand Concourse Tree Scrawl: Artist Amanda Matles led chalk drawing activities on the Grand Coucourse. Participants investigated, imagined, and drew the underground anatomy of the trees and imagined how their roots grow and interact with subterranean infrastructur.

Green Roof Tour: Visit the green roof on the Bronx County Building, led by Kate Shackford.
